System ID*
Legacy RC3 and RC4 system IDs are 4 digits, usually starting with 1. Example: 1021. RC4Magic IDs are 4 characters, 0-9,A-F (hexadecimal notation),starting with 2. Example: 202F. You will find your System ID either written by hand on the product label, or printed on a separate label. The same ID should be marked on all pieces of the same system.

RC4Magic Series 2 IDs are 4 hexadecimal characters (0-9,A-F), starting with 3 or higher. Examples: 31ED, 40A2. The three IDs are usually consecutive but are not required to be. You will find your IDs either written by hand on the purple product label, or printed below the serial number on a white label. The same IDs should be marked on all pieces of the same system.
