Experience the wonder of the DMX2micro, the smallest wireless DMX dimmer on earth. How small is the DMX2miro? This fully functional, two-channel dimmer is under 3” long, and is tiny enough to be concealed almost anywhere.
Even though the DMX2micro is tiny, it has the power of RC4 Wireless platform behind it. Like the standard DMX2dim, the DMX2micro features 19-bit dimming, which is eight times finer than 16-bit with a whopping 524,000 steps of resolution. For users, this means exceptionally smooth LED dimming, especially at the bottom end of the curve, which can be problematic. All SX dimmers also feature dimmer curve crossfading to each individual dimmer; this enables users to tweak the dimming curve 256 steps for each separate dimmer output.
Using the DMX2micro simple and early to learn; a DMX channel and dimmer curves can be assigned with the touch of a single button, thanks to RC4 OneTouch™ configuration can also be done with RC4MagicPC Remote Configuration Software.
Since it’s a two channel dimmer, the DMX2micro is ideal for use with the dimmers built-in RC4 Flkr Effects Engine. Using DMX channels for control, dynamic animated effects are easily and quickly created — this is not a canned effect generator, it is a tool for creating unique looks to suit any need.
Worried about pulse-width-modulation (PWM) and banding on video? The DMX2micro, like all RC4 Series 3 dimmers provides multiple PWM frequencies to make banding, blinking and other anomalies a thing of the past.
The DMX2micro is ideal for hybrid-white LED color mixing, when transitioning between different color temperatures of white. The RC4 Hue/Saturation/Level (HSL) Color Controller delivers best-in-class color consistency over the entire dimming range, ensuring precise mix ratios even at very low dimmer levels. Unlike single-channel DMX control of color from a console, the RC4 HSL Color Controller maintains high ratiometric precision throughout the dimming range.
The DMX2micro also features:
- RC4 HotPatch
- RC4 Digital Persistence
- RC4 ColorMatch
- wired RDM configuration (wireless RDM is not provided)
- DMX data in and out
- high efficiency 6V- 35VDC voltage input range
The internal wireless DMX receiver operates identically to the RC4Magic DMXio in receiver mode. The RC4 DMX miniplug port can be used with a range of DMX adapters, including 3-pin and 5-pin male and female XLR connectors. The most common adapter is the RC4DMX5FA with 5-pin female XLR connector, making the DMX2micro the smallest wireless dimmer and the smallest wireless DMX receiver available.
