Like all RC4 receivers, the MINI features four dimmer channels that can be used individually or ganged together in any combination. In addition to DMX inputs, up to 12 CV inputs are provided. CV is an easy way to interface to handheld controllers and automation systems, keeping non-lighting applications off the lighting console. Any DMX or CV input can be patched to any dimmer or motor control channel. System configuration and channel assignments are done from the RDM-ready transmitter – you can even monitor remote battery voltages during a running show. Tough plastic receiver enclosures are transparent to radio signals, eliminating the need for external antennas. Dimmer curves for lamps and LEDs are provided, and digital persistence makes LEDs mimic the smooth dimming of incandescent filaments. RC4 systems are used by Shaw Festival, San Francisco Ballet, Minnesota Opera, Cirque Du Soleil, Disney Theatrical and many others. RC-Series remote control systems have been available since 1991.
